iPad App Review: Creative Whack Pack

There are hundreds of thousands of apps out there for the iPad and when you are browsing the iTunes app store, you will pretty much be hit with the same sort of ideas just made by different companies. However, there are also some iPad apps out there that are extremely innovative and haven’t really been done before and the Creative Whack Pack app is exactly this. In terms of iPad apps, there is nothing else like this app out there at the moment and it is really innovative and fresh.


So, what exactly is Creative Whack Pack for the iPad? Well, in the iTunes app store it is described as a creative workshop app for the iPad and this is exactly what it is. The idea of the app is that it is a workshop for your thinking patterns and it aims to help you to think about ideas that you have in a different way. Often when we have an idea, we tend to only look at it from one perspective and the Creative Whack Pack app for the iPad snaps us out of this line of thinking and helps us to take a look at the idea in a whole new way by used creativity strategies. Although it might sound like quite an in depth app, it is actually extremely easy to understand and it is a great app for business and creative people.

When you first launch the app, you will notice that the app has a very unique design. Basically, inside the app, all of the creative strategies and thinking patterns are laid out in the style of cards. This makes the app have a very ‘tarot card’ style look to it and it is a great look for this particular app. The app has a range of strange cartoony backgrounds all through the app and although this might not suit other apps, it really suits this app and makes it look great.

In terms of what the app can do, it has some pretty great features. The app is based around making you think in a different way and it actually has 84 different creativity strategies. These include 16 different explorer strategies that will help you to find great new places to get information as well as 16 judging strategies that will help you to reach a decision about a particular idea you have. There are also a number of strategies that will help you to get your ideas into practice and a number of strategies that help you to think about the ideas that you have in an entirely new way.

Overall, this is a fantastic app for the iPad and it is available for the iPhone as well. The app is extremely innovative and it is just what we need when there are so many other boring apps around for the iPad. The app costs just $1.99 and we would highly recommend it for business people, students and artists.
